Updates and Pictures of Miss Claire

Hi there! Long time, no post. Sorry friends and family this little lady takes up quite a bit of my time. Miss Claire will be seven weeks old tomorrow and we can't believe how quickly she is growing up before our eyes.

We have lots to update since our last post:

• Baby girl now takes baths in her tub and just loves it. Teddy even likes to watch and help. 
• She is smiling at us now and it just melts our hearts.
• She had visit from Nana in Florida and will get to see Nana and Big Papa again tomorrow!
• Gigi, Claire's great-grandmother and great aunt Linda flew across the country to meet her and we LOVED getting to see them.
• She has taken a road trip to Gma and G's house and did SO well. Mom and dad even got a night away to themselves.
• She had her first beach trip to La Jolla to meet my godmother MomMom, Rob, Casey, Lindsey, Pat, Kate and baby Drew. Claire loved the beach and the sound of the waves. We can't wait to take her back again soon.
• We really like to eat and almost weigh 10lbs, we will found out exactly how much at our check-up next week.

Four generations!

Baby girl is almost 4 weeks!

Hi everyone!

Momma Erin here, sorry for the delay in posting, we have been busy getting into a routine with our little lady. We can't believe that she is going to be 4 weeks old on Sunday. Miss Claire is getting more adorable every day, not to mention growing and gaining quite a Buddha belly! She loves to take walks in her stroller, and even spent some time in the Baby Bjorn with dad last night. We do tummy time every day (well almost) and she is getting very strong. Our next big adventure will be transitioning Claire to sleeping in her crib at night (I think mom will have the hardest time with it!).

Teddy continues to get more accustom to the baby every day. He loves to lie at my feet when Claire nurses and is very helpful when she is fussy. He follows us as we walk and sway around the house. He is a great big brother!

This week, Claire met her great grandma GiGi (Grams to me) and her Aunt Linda, who traveled all the way from the Midwest to meet her! We will be posting pictures and an update of that visit soon. In the meantime, here are a few shots of tummy time and just hanging out.

Week 2

Miss Claire has made it 14 days, and things are going very well.  Feedings have really improved, her weight seems to be up, and Erin's sleep pattern is getting slightly more bearable.

G-Ma headed back to Napa this morning, so Erin and I are on our own for the moment, but Nana is coming to town tomorrow to meet our little bug.  Grandmas rock!

In today's post, I tried to capture a bit of the personality this little girl is showing off each day.

We are happy to report that Teddy has quickly adjusted to our new roommate and is now very calm around Claire, including night time when he is downstairs dying to know what's happening in his new sister's room.

Our baby girl turns 1-week tonight!  We just can't believe its been that long already.  Then again, I am up at 4am posting baby pictures after spending an hour soothing a very unhappy little lady.

But of course, she is nothing but amazing, so we've been loving every minute of it.  The camera has been snapping all week and its time to share...
